Memoranda of Understanding

The Inspector-General of Water Compliance is an independent integrity agency. It oversees the performance of Murray-Darling Basin governments and agencies under the Murray-Darling Basin Plan and Water Act 2007.

To achieve this, the agency needs to:

  • ensure the clarity of roles and responsibilities with Basin governments and agencies
  • enable collaboration where this assists its monitoring and oversight role.
