Community Sentiment Surveys

Last updated: 2 Jul 2025

The Inspector-General of Water Compliance uses community sentiment surveys to track its performance over time. The surveys also measure the performance of other water management agencies.

The surveys set a baseline of trust and confidence in water management across the Murray-Darling Basin. They also inform the Inspector-General of areas in need of improvement. This helps shape future work plans and priorities.

The Inspector-General engaged ORIMA Research(Opens in a new tab/window) to conduct previous surveys. ORIMA is an Australian, evidence-based research company.
